Continental Driven shoots

What to try some Olde World shooting right here in New Hampshire?

Looking for a reason to take your favorite SXS or O/U out of the gun cabinet for a shoot?

Do you have a new semi auto or pump you'd like to try on high flying pheasants?

If you said yes to any of these questions. You should consider joining us this season for our continental driven shoots.

The day will begin at 9:00 with morning snacks and coffee followed by a flurry at the 5 stand before the shoot for warming up. The pheasant shoot will start after 9 :30 am.

Pheasants will be released from a raised platform in the center of the field, with 12 shooting stations or pegs placed around the field. A round of birds will be released, equal to the number of shooters. After each round we will retrieve the downed birds before moving to another shooting station for the next round. This will continue for 12 rounds and all shooters have had an opportunity at each station. We will have retrieving dogs available or you are welcome to bring your own.

There will be 15 pheasants released for each shooter and the hunt will be limited to 24 shooters.

After the hunt around 12:30 all the birds will be cleaned and divided equally among the shooters. A King's feast will be served in the clubhouse. If you choose not to partake in any adult beverages during lunch you can go on a walk up hunt in the afternoon.

The afternoon bag limit will be determined by the morning's take. Limit of 4 hunters to a field. Fields will be assigned on a first come basis. All afternoon hunts must conclude by 4 p.m.

If you choose to forgo the afternoon hunt, you can come back Sunday for a half day hunt to pick up your remaining bag limit from the driven shoot.

The cost is $350 for members / $400 for non-members.
Participants are required to wear eye protection during the morning shoot and blaze orange hats / vests should you elect to do the walk up in the afternoon.
